The Grinch: This sweet melon liqueur is the perfect shade of green for the Grinch martini. In a shaker with ice, combine 1 ½ ounces Midori melon liqueur, 1 ounce vodka, 2 ounces sour mix, and 1 ½ ounces lime juice. Shake then strain into a martini glass rimmed with crushed candy cane. Top it off with either a small candy cane or maraschino cherry.
The Scrooge Driver:
Do you know someone who just can’t get into the Christmas spirit? A slight twist on the classic Screwdriver, this tart version is one that even Ebenezer himself would enjoy. In cocktail shaker, combine 4 ounces orange juice, 2 ounces pink or red grapefruit juice and 3 ounces citrus vodka. Stir gently and pour into highball glasses with ice. Garnish with a slice of sour lemon.
The Rudolph:
This is a great one because you can just use your favorite flavored vodka, pour it into a martini glass and add a dollop of grenadine. (Take your time and pour it into the middle of the glass.) It will settle at the bottom, creating a Rudolph’s signature red nose.
Jack Frost:
Warm up with this beautiful pina colada inspired cocktail. Mix 1 c. pineapple juice with equal parts light rum or vodka, blue curacao and cream of coconut (not coconut milk) in a shaker glass with ice. Strain into martini glass and rim with shredded coconut before serving.
